I know who the killer is - I know who the killer is.

I got a preview of Monday's episode, and saw who admits to the kidnapping and the killing of Carmen.

I will tell you one thing - it is not who you think it is!

I will tell you, but it is a spoiler, so I really do not know how to do this except for having you scroll way down the page in case you don't want to find out. And I will not tell you the how and why, you will have to watch The Young and The Restless on Monday, February 19th. But again, I have seen the episode and trust me - I know who killed Carmen Mesta.

Next Victim - Colleen!

Colleen is kidnapped and taken to where Jana is being held.

So, is it Korbel? All the clues, like Colleen finding Jana's hair extensions and Carmen's drivers license lead to him. But is it too obvious? I thought the reveal next Monday would be more of a shocker.

Or maybe Korbel is just kidnapping Colleen and Jana, but has nothing to do with Carmen Mesta's murder?

On second thought, maybe Korbel will try to make an exchange - the Grugeon (sp) - art piece - for Colleen.

Thoughts?

Ashley is Back...

Oh, yes.

The Eileen Davidson as Ashley is back.

But...

She will not be on the Young and the Restless. They are taking her to Los Angeles with the Forresters over at The Bold and the Beautiful. Kudo's to the Bell family for making a wise choice.

We have seen Lauren cross over, Sheila, Erica ,and we even have the tramp Amber (yawn - just don't like that girl!!!) - so it is a great decision.

Look for the character of Ashley Abbott to start on The Bold and the Beautiful later this month.

BREAKING NEWS: Det. Sullivan FREES Sheila!

Set you DVR's for Mondays episode of Y & R.

Remember when Maggie, aka Detective Sullivan, placed a trace on Paul's phone. Well, at the end of Monday's episode, she goes to the warehouse in which Sheila is being held captive. And of course, Maggie lets Sheila out - and winds up getting choked by Sheila.

Things are going to get mighty interesting, as I see Sheila/Phyllis taking over Phyllis' life soon.

I know he is capable of murder. I honestly just do not know what the motive would be, but the man is sick. And all of the serial killer talk has me wondering.

Hmmm - add another suspect to the list.

Disappointing Exit.

I think that Eileen Davidson as Ashley deserved a little more than the departure she played out. She was a main character and one of the core family members of the show.

I was saddened to hear of her departure, but even more sad at the disappointing exit she was written.

No fanfare?

No party?

Nothing?

Just quick good-byes. Done.

I hope someday they bring Eileen back. She is an amazing actress with stellar performances.

I will miss her.

Sorry - but I do not like Adrienne's character of Amber one bit. Didn't she have a child on the B & B? Is anyone taking care of said child?

And I am totally sick of very strange professor Adrian Korbel. Something is definitely up with this guy.

Enough of these two already.

Who's decision was it to hire Adrienne Frantz and bring the crossover character to the Y & R anyway??? I was excited at first, but her character is just so annoying!

Happy New Year!

Sorry they had been a lag in posting, but tis the Holidays - tis the season to be busy!

The Holidays on Y & R were nice. I don't really care too much for the Brad and his family storyline anymore. I thought we were over that this summer. Can we put that to rest yet?

And what about Jack having to deliver Phyllis's baby? I would have never gone there - it was not even in my wildest imagination. Way to Go Y & R writers! It was a nice touch. Though I still think that baby Summer is Jack's baby, and Nick is hiding that fact form us. Remember, Nick was the only one to see the DNA results!

SO - Sheila is alive! I knew it. I would have never suspected that Paul would be holding her hostage or anything. Scary - Paul. What has happened to you? And I think Sheila(aka Phyllis imposter) will escape at some point. It is the only way the story can go. I mean Paul will not harm her, or he would have already. Maybe he is just waiting to decide what to do to her. How about turning her over to the police Paul,and ridding us of her once and for all. Oh yeah - I forgot it is Sheila - crazy Sheila. I think Michelle Stafford will do a good job playing her as Sheila. But I do miss Kimberlin Brown - she was a classic!

So what do you think the New Year holds for our friends at Y & R? I would love to hear some predictions!

Eileen Davidson FIRED!

In a stunning move, the Y & R powers that be, have released Eileen Davidson who plays the character of Ashley Abbott, or Carlton (who knows?) from her contract.

I am saddened and in shock.

Eileen originated the role of Ashley Abbott in 1982.

What are they thinking? Can't they come up with a storyline for the talented Ms. Davidson?

Today's episode was very revealing and interesting!

I never would have even suspected Michael and his little scenario. Or Victoria. Or Jana or Kevin for that matter.

Be-jebus, just about anyone in Genoa City could have killed Carmen.

Maybe it was Billy and someone was blackmailing him, and he lied about the Internet gambling and bookies. And Jack found out, and helped him by sending him to Hong Kong. Now that is a scenario that was not played out, was it???

I really, really, really want the murder to be solved with a "shocking twist". One that we would never think of.

Would the writers that be ever be so bold as to get rid of a main character?

I do not care for this new Billy, and the writers that be are tyring to throw him into a huge storyline.

Is it just me, or did today's episode with the all important Friday cliffhanger, suck?

Everyone got served with Grand Jury papers - big deal.

I am beginning to wonder more and more though if Lily is guilty of something here. Maybe not murder, but she is up to something. She mad it a point to tell everyone that she left the apartment and went to the park. At first I though it was just a bogus alibi for Devon, but she said that she really was there. And I just might believe her.

And who else thinks that the good looking professor is up to no good? He is obviously onto Brad & family, and I think he may be a spy or FBI.

And Dru, honey - like one of my commenter's said - please brush your hair!

Ooh - and Lauren, get some sleep. I can see the PPD starting already.
I honestly think that Sheila is alive, and Lauren will know, but be suffering from Post Partum Depression and no one will believe her when she tries to tell everyone.

Maybe I just think too much about Y & R.

Any spoilers or thoughts on my ideas from my readers?

Lauren is being so paranoid - poor thing.

She is totally justified in being so overprotective of Fen (short for Fenmore - don't ya love it?).

Thank goodness they get to bring the little baby home today.

I do still think that Sheila making herself to look like Phyllis will still come into play somewhere. Amber (from B&B) is making a crossover, and I think... can't be sure, think that she is Sheila's daughter or somehow related to her???

I am really getting sick of Mr. Bradley Carlton - a.k.a. George Kaplan - or whoever.

Am I the only one confused here?

And did I miss something? Why did Brad all of a sudden hate Carmen?

I saw him lurking around the corner from Carmen's suite when he spotted Devon. What was he doing there? Is she somehow connected to his "real" family, or know what happened in "The Church" incident.

I will make sure my TIVO isn't full and make sure I see the entire episode from the beginning so I won't be lost in this little maze of unsuspecting suspects any more.

Neil found her body today, and it will be ruled a homicide on Monday.

Carmen Mesta was murdered - I knew it!

On November 10th, Y&R will air a special episode when different possible murder scenarios are played out. Interesting! It will be fun to watch.

I can't decide if I think it was Mr. Kim or Devon.

So... Miss Sheila is supposedly dead.

I for one don't believe it. I think she is behind everything with the fax being sent to Paul, and that she now looks like Phyllis after having facial reconstruction. CREEPY!

Should we take bets on the fact that Sheila/Phyllis will soon replace the real Phyllis - perhaps after she (Phyllis) has had the baby?

There has to be something to the fact that the writers had Lauren & Phyllis pg at the same time. That just never happens in Soap Opera Worlds.

A New Character Crossover..

From the B&B comes the character created and played by Adrienne Frantz, Amber Moore.

What a HUGE crossover, with more possibilities than ever! I mean Lauren is great friends of Eric Forrester. And wasn't Amber a daughter-in-law of Eric's at some point? And wasn't Amber somehow involved with Sheila on B&B?

Crazy, Crazy, Carmen!

So - who else thinks that Carmen Mesta is gonna turn all crazy and provoke Dru into doing something. Doing something to make it look like Dru attacks Carmen.

Gosh - I think I see the writing on the wall. Carmen is going to soon end up dead. And Dru will be framed from her own actions. But Dru will not be the murderer. We will suspect Devon - and maybe Dru will try and cover for him. Or it is someone from Carmen's past. Notice how they started to divulge into Carmen's past - and then suddenly stopped. I think she is running from something.

Or - Or - Or - she is going to go all Fatal Attraction on Dru & Neil and wind up dead.

Didn't I read that she is off the show soon? Did I report it here?

Well, these are only my predictions. No actual spoilers - just my opinions from watching this soap way too much!

I am anxious to see what actually happens!

All I know is that Tammy Lauren has been hired to play the role of detective (where is Det. Webber?) - so someone is getting killed off!

In a surprising switch-a-roo, Y & R has let go Davetta Sherwood, and has rehired Christel Khalil as Lily.

Ooh - I was shocked. I think that Davetta has finally made Lily her own. I wasn't too fond of how different she was than Christel's Lily when she first came on the scene - but I like how she plays her now.

I guess we will have to see what direction Christel takes Lily back to. It is rumored that she has a major storyline coming up.

Oh - I so new it!

Jack just seemed to care less when it was mentioned that another company, House of Kim, had made an offer to Katherine.

At the very end of today's episode, Jack was seen popping the cork on a champagne bottle and wanted to celebrate with Ashley. He said that they should make a toast to the CEO and new owner of Jabot. Ashley looked at him puzzled, when Jack announces: You're looking at him! Ashley (among the rest of us) are shocked!

Way to go, Jackie boy!

So, does anyone else that Jack has something to do with Mr. Kim? Or could it be Victor - I think maybe the latter.

Jack just isn't worried enough about this mysterious buyer.

And why is Billy so concerned all of a sudden? And shouldn't he be doing something other than delivering the mail at Jabot? I mean Kev certainly made the jump up the corporate ladder quickly.

And we must not forget that Gloria was behind the whole financial problems with Jabot in the first place by tampering with Ash's face cream. Ooh - I can't wait for Katherine to find out that little tidbit of info.

I guess we will all just wait and see!

Not brain surgery! Not on Victor Newman!!!

What makes a doctor perform brain surgery on a patient who is number 1 - not coherent or in a positive mental state, and number 2 - still reeling from side effects of medication?

While the soaps are never ever close to real, the Y & R writer are trying to bring to light a real issue in epilepsy. I just wish they would have followed through a bit more and went and waited a few days with Victor - and explained more about the pros and cons of brain surgery.

I sure hope they haven't messed with perfection!

Jack + Sharon = YUCK!

Was anyone else totally offended by the pairing of Jack & Sharon? I didn't mind the flirtatious kiss. But seeing them in bed together just made me say "ewww!".

There is an age difference, which is not that big of a deal - but it makes me sick that Jack was a father figure to Nicholas when Nick & Sharon were first together and getting married.

Yuck - double yuck - triple yuck!

Please make them stop!

There have got to be some young hotties for Sharon (maybe a cute professor that is coming to town!) - and plenty of fish in the sea for Jack. And while I do like Nick & Phyllis together, I really wish Jack would have put up a fight for Phyllis. That could have been a touching storyline.

While I am not thrilled with the character of Gloria - I absolutely love the way that Judith Chapman plays her. So overly dramatic, throwing looks around that could burn a line fire strait through ya. She plays her so that you love to hate her.

And I totally get a kick out of her clothes and over done makeup.

How did I not know that this site existed? I have been to may Y & R fan sites, to Soap Central and CBS Daytime section - but never to the official site of The Young and the Restless from The Young and the Restless.

I can't believe that I never discovered it until now. Is it fairly new? Am I just a moron and never looked? Either way, I am so glad to have found it.

Carmen Mesta - Out?

Is the character Carmen Mesta coming to an end? Or are they just recasting?

I have heard that Marisa Ramirez is no longer with Y & R, but cannot find any details about it.

I, for one, would not miss the actress - and really the character all together for that matter. She just doesn't seem to fit in very well. But... they have talked a bit about her background lately, so maybe there will be a recast.

The role of Rebecca Kaplan Will Now be Played by...

Millie Perkins, the woman who has her made her face known in a few scenes as Rebecca Kaplan - Brad's mother, is being replaced. The actress taking over the role is Lorna Raver.

Head writer Lynn Marie Latham, released a statement:

Although we were happy with Millie Perkin's performance and we respect her
work, we decided to go in a different direction for the role of Rebecca.

Lorna will begin airing September 19th.

Here is a little preview of what I have read about what will be happening on Monday:

...Dru is with her handsome date, and she gets a little more than drunk, and yet again - makes a fool of herself.
...Neil seems jealous of Dru being with another man
....Jack brings Sharon to the NVP opening and Nikki seems to wonder what is going on there
....Sharon is upset because she thinks that Nick and Phyllis are there to announce they are engaged
....Brad is worried when his mother doesn't check in with him when she was supposed to have arrived (could this be due to the fact that there is a new actress taking over the role of Brad's Mom?)
...Victor goes to make a speech at the gala and starts seeing things. He thinks everyone is laughing at him. He leaves to go home only to start hearing and seeing more things - he is going a bit crazy, folks.
